Being Bigger than your Giants

Have you ever had a “Department” sweep your dreams off the table?

ScottHave you ever had an over-powering GIANT sweep your dreams right off the table?

– You can’t get the occupancy codes you need.

– Financing laughs you out of the building.

– The market seems to evade you like a Covid carrier.

– Shark Tank Investors lean back in their chairs and says… “I’m out!”

It’s really easy to start thinking “I’m the only one this happens too!”

I did.

But you’re not.

There are tons of entrepreneurs and corporate leaders that are fighting, just like you, for their big, scary, audacious dreams. And most of them fight multiple giants to get their dreams moving.

Try this to keep your dream moving

1. A “WHY” that’s Bigger than your Obstacles.

There is more than just one WHY. I’ve figured out at least six that drive big achievers.

It could be excruciating pain, a calling, a deeply seeded dream or just knowing there’s GOT to be a better way to do something.

Your Why motivation just has to be Bigger and Deeper than your obstacles.

And think about this too: Is it a Why that others would join in with you? Now it becomes a team event… with more mass.

2. Tenacity to Embrace your Obstacles.

Obstacles are the gatekeepers that pioneers have learned to unlock. They aren’t going away.

Obstacles and challenges protect Great Truths and The Wonders of the World from the careless and mediocre.

Embrace your obstacle with subject matter experts! Tap into THEIR secret weapons.

Here is my story on that!

3. A Never Give Up Attitude

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is weird with its twists and turns

As every one of us sometimes learns

And many a failure comes about

When they might have won had they stuck it out;

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow—

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out—

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell just how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far;

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—

It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Good luck.
